We’ve updated the Planable MCP connector and public API to include new capabilities requested by our customers.

Here’s what’s new:

• Campaigns: create, view, edit, delete; add or remove posts

• Custom views: create, view, edit, delete

• Competitor analytics: add/remove competitors, compare, see trends, pull top posts (requires the Analytics add-on)

No matter what you ask AI to build, it still lands as a draft in your normal approval flow. Nothing publishes without a human signing off.

The MCP is available on every plan. The Public API is available on Pro and Enterprise.

Emerging regulations require creators to label realistic photos, videos, and audio made or altered with AI. Now you can turn that label on right in Planable, and it publishes with your posts, reels, and stories.

The AI label is optional and is set per post, so switch it on only when the content is genuinely AI-generated or altered.

Instagram only for now — we’ll add other platforms as they open up third-party access to AI labeling.

Planable now supports Facebook Stories! Create, schedule, approve, and publish photo and video stories to your Facebook pages, right alongside Instagram Stories.

Build a story once and publish it to Facebook and Instagram at the same time. Design it on a single canvas, and Planable sends it to both channels.

Just like for Instagram, you can switch between two ways to publish:

• Direct Publish sends the story out automatically at the scheduled time.
• If you want to add stickers, music, or other widgets, use Publish via Mobile ( the same option you already know from Instagram Stories) and Planable will notify you when it’s time to post so you can add them yourself.

Stories run through the same approval and scheduling flow as your other posts, and the full experience, including bulk stories, is available.

You can now schedule and publish video content directly to your Google Business Profile from Planable.

Google Business Profile videos now fit into the same content calendar and approval flow as all your other channels, so everything stays in one place.

A great fit for local businesses and multi-location brands. Show off a space, a product, or a quick how-to without leaving Planable. Videos up to 25 MB are supported.

Let AI write your ALT text for you. Click Generate with AI to get a description based on the image itself, or Rewrite with AI to polish one you’ve already written. Apply it, retry for another take, or discard and keep editing.

Also, you can now set ALT text once on the asset in the Media Library, and it’s automatically applied to every post that uses that file.

Tag people in your LinkedIn posts by publishing them straight from the Planable mobile app.

• LinkedIn’s API only tags people when their privacy settings line up, so you might not always see the profiles you’re looking for. Publishing from the app gets around that.
• Turn it on for a whole page or a single post — Planable sends a push notification when the post is due, you open LinkedIn, tag, publish, then tap “Mark as Published.”

Works for personal profiles and company pages, across text, images, GIFs, video, and PDF carousels.

Make sure you have the latest version of the mobile app.

The new Competitors tab in Analytics lets you track up to 5 Facebook and Instagram competitors per page and benchmark their performance against your own, so you can see exactly where you stand.

Data syncs daily and lives alongside your analytics, making competitor monitoring part of your regular workflow.

Here’s what you’ll find:

• Quick comparison table: compare followers, posting activity, and engagement side by side, including period-over-period changes.
• Metric trend chart: track follower growth and engagement over time for your page and your competitors in a single chart.
• Top competitor posts: discover your competitors’ best-performing content based on engagement and identify what’s working in your niche.
• CSV export: download the full dataset, including competitor metrics and top-performing posts, for reporting and deeper analysis.

Add competitors using a profile handle or URL, and the first sync will complete in about a minute.

Planable’s AI now writes in your brand’s voice!

Brand context is a new section in workspace settings where you define your Tone of Voice, Brand Values, Approved Terminology, and Audience. Once filled in, Planable’s AI reads it automatically every time you Generate, Rewrite, or Continue a post.

No toggles. It just works.

If you manage multiple clients, each workspace has its own brand xontext so the AI adapts per client without any extra input from you.

Owners and editors can edit it. You choose whether clients can see it.
