10 million. Going on 100!
Hey, dear marketing folks!
I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce an important milestone that has us dancing on cloud nine.
Together, you’ve created a whopping 10 million pieces of content in Planable!
We want to give a shoutout to you — our awesome users who trust and choose Planable to create, plan, approve, and publish your content. You rock! Here’s to 10 million and beyond! 🎉🎊
Curious what all this precious time in Planable has been spent on? So were we!
As we’re just passing the half-of-the-year mark in 2023, here are some interesting insights from our users’ activity*:
Favorite platforms
Facebook is still the platform that gets the most posting activity, with more than 750k published posts, accounting for 36% of all posts. It’s followed by Instagram, while the third place is taken by Twitter & LinkedIn, with similar numbers.
Looking at the trends, though, compared to the same period last year, we see two interesting — but maybe not so surprising – up-and-comers:
- TikTok – with a 454% increase in created posts, and
- Google Business Profile – with a 128% increase.
Favorite types of social media content
Single-image posts are still the majority of the content being shared, with over 1 million posts this first half of 2023. However, looking to last year’s data, we notice a decreasing trend that will soon take them below the 50% mark.
Text-only posts are steady in second place, with over 314k published posts, while URL thumbnail & video posts continue to rise in percentage.
Bringing all your content to Planable
Earlier in the year, we launched our much-awaited Universal Content feature, which opens up the gates for all marketing content to come to Planable.
Anything is possible in Universal Content, and we see our users love to add images, headings, text dividers, and links. Still low in percentage, but worthy mentions are GIFs and YouTube or Twitter embeds.
With a special mention to our early adopters, we see they use the Universal Content mostly for blogs, newsletters, and, well, “tests”. 🙄😄
In lower numbers, but showing some interesting directions, we see the feature used for Google Ads, Reddit, and Whatsapp. Hmmm… 🤔
