You know which posts performed. What you don’t know is whether people asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google’s AI about your category ever hear your brand’s name, or hear a competitor’s instead.
Your calendar already has a hand in that. When AI builds an answer, it leans on social, the posts, threads, and profiles it has already read.
This workflow makes that deliberate. It fills your calendar with posts built to get your brand mentioned in those answers, drafted straight into your Planable workspace.
What it does
It fills your calendar with a batch of drafted, citable posts, each one aimed at a question where your brand is currently missing from the answer, or losing it to a competitor.
Each post traces back to:
- a question or topic where your brand doesn’t come up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, or AI Mode;
- a question a competitor currently owns, that you could take instead;
- your share of voice against the competitors you give it.
Every post lands as a draft in Planable, channel adapted and labeled. Nothing publishes on its own, and nothing changes in SE Ranking unless you connect a project for ongoing tracking.
Ways to use it
- A claim the answer campaign. A batch of posts aimed at the specific questions where your brand doesn’t come up.
- A competitor takeover. A rival gets mentioned where you want to be, target it directly with comparison, FAQ, or definition style content.
- A citable content batch. Comparisons, FAQs, and definitions, formats you already make, aimed at the questions that need them.
- A before and after check. Post, then check later whether your brand starts showing up where it didn’t before.
Example uses
Target what you’re missing from
“Draft posts targeting the questions we are missing from.”
Close a gap against a named competitor
“Where is our competitor X beating us in ChatGPT answers for Y topics, and what should we post to close the gap?”
Plan across engines
“AEO content plan for X brand vs competitor Y and competitor Z across Perplexity and Gemini.”
What it needs
Target domain and brand name, plus country · Competitor domains and brand names · Destination Planable workspace with at least one connected page · Optional: which AI engines to focus on
What you get
- Drafted, channel adapted posts in your Planable workspace, with links
- A content plan: which questions are owned, contested, or missing, per engine
- A share of voice view, brand vs competitors
- A tracking plan for before and after measurement
Main benefit: every post in your calendar is aimed at a real gap in what AI says about your brand, not a guess.
One caveat worth keeping: AI Mode and AI Overviews are volatile by nature, results shift between runs even for the same query. Treat the before and after check as a trend, not a single score.

FAQs
Does it publish anything automatically?
No. Every post lands as a draft in Planable. You review, edit, and schedule it the same way you would any other draft.
Do I need an SE Ranking project set up first?
No, for a single gap analysis and campaign. A project only matters if you want ongoing tracking through the AI Result Tracker, so you can see whether presence moves after you post.
Which AI engines does it cover?
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and AI Mode. You can narrow the run to specific engines if you only care about some of them.
